The Peak Team

Meet the crew that’s dedicated to creating your dream home.

Why We Love Creating

The origin of Peak Ventures Fine Custom Homes rests with what started as an idea to Design and Build High Quality Custom Homes for resale in Whistler.

That was in 1996. 23 years later, we’re still Designing and Building to the Highest Quality Standards in the Sea to Sky Corridor, West Vancouver, Gulf Islands, and the Sunshine Coast. And our client list reflects many years of loyal, satisfied repeat clients that have come to expect nothing less than the best. Whether a Fine Custom Home, or Remodel in our Residential portfolio, an Olympic Celebration Plaza or 5 Diamond Hotel in our Commercial portfolio, our clients place a high priority on Quality and Value and Peak Ventures delivers with unparalleled service and Value in every project we take on.

David Girard, as president of Peak Ventures, oversees all aspects of company operations. With a strong background of knowledge and experience in new construction, renovation, mechanical systems, maintenance management and professional property inspection, David lends Peak Ventures a broad technical foundation to anchor our business.

Meet The Team

David Girard

David had construction in his blood from a young age when he would help his Dad and brothers wire houses for the family electrical company at age 12. His volunteer efforts include having been a Past President of the local chapter of the Canadian Home Builders Association, a current Director, and member of various local committees including Whistler Board of Variance.

Having lived in Whistler for 30+ years and raised a family here, he is well aware of the demands this mountain climate places on our built environment.

David brings his passion for delivering excellence in quality and service to the Peak Team during the work week and balances his life between quality family time and the abundant angling opportunities BC provides in summer while enjoying bluebird ski days in winter.

Outdoor Living

Although we aren’t living outside, you will likely see your home from the outside everyday. You want your home to have curb appeal and create great first impressions with friends and family. Landscaping and additional structures are as important as the house itself when it comes to your home’s external impression.

You want a home that you will say “That’s my home” when you see it from down the street.
